After Printing

The first thing that we did is that we cleaned our negatives with photoflo. We then put our negatives into the enlarger and made sure that everything was centered and in focus. We focused the picture by turning the dial on the side of the enlarger and we looked into the magnifing lens to make sure it was really in focus. We then set the time for 4 seconds so we could experiment which time was the best for the picture, that is when the test strip came in. We exposed a qaurter of the test strip for 4 secs., 5 secs., and for 6 secs. After we did that, we saw which exposure was the best time amount and then we exposed the whole paper for the time necessary. We developed the picture by putting the paper into the developer for 1 min., into the stop bath for 15 secs., and then the fixer for 2 mins. We then let the photo dry over night.
